If you take the exit road of « Jiyeh » and follow the coastal road to Beirut for 400 meters, you can reach the most recent beach: Lazy B, the only haven for relaxation…A simple, fresh, and colored beach…
“Peace” is the word that describes this beach the most. With its refined style, this place is full of detailed decoration in each of its corners, but the colors are in a perfect harmony thanks to the great decoration taste of Daisy Boustany. The seaside is of many levels and cabins are spread all over it in a splendid way.
Deckchairs of all kinds, wooden painted furniture, and Brazilian hammocks are spread on this beach, along with shanties and cabins, among the numerous bamboos…At Lazy B, there is always a room for serenity and relaxation by the sea. Tranquility is always your companion, no music before 5p.m in the bar and a professional day-care center is there to look after your kids. You will hear nothing but the sound of the waves that will cradle your sensations.
George Boustany, the creator of this beach, gave it a very attractive feature that always reminds us about the mixture between nature and modernity: an extraordinary natural pool in the middle of the sea! Diving in this creek among rocks is a real pleasure: water is extremely beautiful and pure; it has not only been cleaned by the international groups who passed by the area, but it also receives pure water from a subterranean river flow that gives it an exceptional touch of freshness all through the year!
Finally, after strolling on the marvelous little roads among a savage vegetation, from a stage to another, from the sea to the pool, from the soft sand to the immense lawn, and after enjoying your nap on a hammock, you can still get a soft professional massage – you have the choice between aromatherapy, shiatsu, and reflex therapy – then, you can taste the little delicious plates (…), with Italian fresh juice and ice cream that help you feel fresh!
The sandy beaches of Lebanon include many places that should be discovered. If you are seeking a simpler ambiance, you should absolutely think about Atlas Beach in Jiyeh in the western area; it has a more bohemian and less sophisticated tendency: you can bring your own musical instruments and all your stuff to enjoy your time freely on the beach…
In the northern area, near Batroun, Pierre and Friends, a little beach overhung by “Pierre” restaurant, a real attractive area for all the fans of Batroun; Surfers and fish lovers will explore the pleasure of diving and surfing in its little creek among the refreshing waves, and then climb the stares from the beach to the entrance of the restaurant to taste the delicious seafood and the traditional mezzes.
The restaurant, which includes a mini-bar, becomes crowded just at nightfall and turns into a night club where people dance on the rhythm of the waves they can watch from the glass bay. This place is one of a kind…You should absolutely discover it!

Lazy B : un havre de détente et de fraicheur
Tout près de « Jiyeh », Lazy B est un havre de détente simple, fraîche et colorée. Ici le mot d’ordre est « la paix », pour paresser au mieux comme l’indique justement son nom. Conçue avec beaucoup de savoir-faire, la plage regorge de détails à chaque coin, tout cela sans le moindre encombrement, dans une harmonie parfaite entre couleurs naturelles et teintes acidulées pour un décor signé Daisy Boustany. De l’ombre dispensée de façon savante sous les nombreuses huttes, la plage s’étage sur plusieurs niveaux, offrant à chaque fois un palier de fraîcheur ensoleillée.
Sur les chaises longues de toutes sortes, près des meubles en bois peint ou sur les hamacs brésiliens s’égrenant entre huttes et cabanons, tout cela au milieu des nombreux bambous qui poussent sur la plage, le lieu offre sans cesse des coins personnalisés pour se détendre face à la mer. La tranquillité est au rendez-vous, pas de musique avant 17h00 autour du bar et les enfants disposent d’une vraie garderie en pleine nature, tenue par des professionnels. Seul le bruit des vagues vient bercer le tout sans heurt.
Née d’une idée de Georges Boustany, cette plage a une particularité réellement attrayante qui rappelle toujours ce mélange entre artifice, au sens noble, et naturel : une extraordinaire piscine naturelle au milieu de la mer ! Plonger dans cette crique au milieu des rochers est un véritable bain de jouvence : l’eau autour de ce terrain est extrêmement belle et pure : non seulement elle a été nettoyée suite au passage des équipes internationales dans la zone, mais en plus elle reçoit dans ses flots le cours d’une rivière souterraine qui y aboutit, lui offrant une fraîcheur exceptionnelle tout au long de l’année !
Alors, après avoir déambulé dans les merveilleux petits chemins creusés au sein d’une végétation sauvage, passant d’un palier à l’autre, de la mer à la piscine, du sable fin à l’immense pelouse et s’être assoupi avec délices dans un hamac, on peut encore goûter à la douceur d’un massage professionnel – le choix est ouvert entre aromathérapie, shiatsu et réflexothérapie – puis, enfin, déguster les délicieux petits plats, (…), avec ses jus de fruits frais et glaces à l’italienne, toujours dans cette fraîcheur décidément omniprésente…
