FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q- Is lazy b for adults only?
A- Of course not! Children are allowed in lazy b, and they even pay a reduced price. BUT please note that children are not allowed in the pool and bar section! Adults who sit there are searching for tranquility and we respect their choice.

Q- So children don't have access to a pool?
A- lazy b is a primarily a sandy beach, and in this respect it is very different from other beach resorts, as others provide very large, often Olympic pools in a noisy environment. We at lazy b have chosen nature and the sea is the main attraction here. The sandy beach is great for children and the sea is much cleaner that the cleanest pool! Furthermore, the most important landmark of lazy b, and your children will never forget it when they see it, is a natural "swimming pool" in the sea: the creek! It is shallow and safe. Your children will love it! So if you want to show them something else than ugly and populated pools, bring them to lazy b.

Q- Is it possible to arrange for a wedding or a private party at lazy b?
A- Sure, but conditions apply! Because lazy b is not a commercial place, and it's not usually open at night, a minimum of 50 persons is required, up to a maximum of 250. Don't plan for a formal wedding or party at lazy b, rather a more "relaxed" one as you will have to use the space around the pool and the restaurant terraces, with their furniture. For other wedding or party solutions, you may check the Boustany residence in Jyeh, which can accommodate a much larger number of people. For more info on wedding and parties at lazy b, click here.

Q- What are the working hours?
A- We open at 9am and close at sunset (7.30pm in May, 7.50pm in June, 7.40pm in July, 7.20pm in August, 7.10pm in September and 7.00pm in October). But please note that lifeguards are on duty until 6pm so you shouldn't be swimming after that time. Swimming after 6pm is at your own risk.

Q- When does the season start at lazy b?
A- lazy b usually opens on May 15 and closes on October 15. For exact dates, check the homepage.

Q- Are the lifeguards reliable? what are their working hours?
A- Yes! all our lifeguards have the necessary diplomas and we are equipped with all required material. Hospital is 10mn away and there's a service road that allows the ambulance to reach the beach. Lifeguards are on duty from 9am to 6pm daily.

Q- Why don't you have music at lazy b?
A- Because all other beaches do! More seriously, because we believe that at least one beach in Lebanon should look like a beach: silent, peaceful, relaxing. Take a book or a magazine and read! Reading is a luxury nowadays.

Q- Do you have a wireless Internet connection?
A- Yes. For the password, please ask the cashier.

Q- Do you have bungalows?
A- No! lazy b does only provide a cabana for daily rental, and cabins.

Q- Do you provide towels?
A- No, we only sell them. Please ask the cashier for details.

Q- Are maids allowed at lazy b?
A- Of course, and they don't pay at the entrance provided that they don't swim. If they want to swim, they are considered as regular customers and thus they should pay at the entrance.
